LE MINERVOIS PDF Print E-mail
The Minervois, one of the largest wine growing regions of France, sits across the departments of Aude and Hérault (11 & 34). However, today in these modern times the Minervois is not a recognised administrative region of France.

Dating from as far back as the ninth century, Minerve was once the capital of this ancient region but today the busy market village of Olonzac is the central hub for the Minervois.

There are numerous ‘good’ places to eat and stay all over the Minervois.

The location of Le Minervois lies just north of the motorway between Carcassonne and Narbonne, up to the Black Mountains and down to the River Aude. It is approximately 50kms wide and 25 kms deep.
