The Languedoc Roussillon region that sits alongside the Mediterranean from the Rhone to the Pyrenees is characterised by its extreme diversity and the abundance of significant sites of interest.

This large region boast up to 220 km of coastline with around 180 km of fine sandy beaches also has many wild rocky stretches and is decorated all along with etangs, the coastal pools rich in salt and wildlife.

With rich cultural heritage, ancient medieval villages living in harmony with large cities and modern dynamic farming the Languedoc contains some of the most popular places to live in France.

Move away from the coast and into the heart of the plateaus between the Massif Central, to the north, and the summits of the Pyrenees with active snow stations to the south, and you will find living villages where the farming is for wine and olives and the taste for life is Mediterranean.
